Since he went mainstream, Bujtás has competed in several poker tournaments and although he may not headline everything, he always puts up a fight anytime he plays. One of his earliest tournaments was the 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure where he finished around 62nd and got a prize of a little over $24,000.
By 2018, László Bujtás already worked on himself and had better skills to tank higher. In fact, he came very close to clinching the World Series of Poker Europe, finishing second place and getting a prize of over $789,227.
This competitive Hungarian star went ahead to win one of his first main-scale tournaments in August 2019 where he got the gold in the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona, emerging with over $780,000.
2022 has also been a relatively huge year for László Bujtás as he started with second place in the 2022 Triton Poker Cyprus where he won $770,000. He then went ahead to compete in two different Europe Poker Tours; one in Monte Carlo, and the other in Barcelona where he emerged in fifth place in both of them. We should also mention that he won the gold in the 50,000 No Limit Hold’em – 8-Handed Turbo event.

András Németh is another familiar figure in the Hungarian gambling space and he also specializes in poker. In 2022, he made his highest in a live event where he came first place in the $50,000 No Limit Hold’em at the 2022 Triton Poker Cyprus Event 1. He amassed a grand prize of $1,082,000 in that event which marked a new high for his live winnings.
Márton Czuczor
Márton Czuczor is another popular Hungarian figure that attracts the spotlight at both domestic and international poker events. He has recorded total earnings of over $4.4 million and has won up to $1,393,721 in one live event when he finished second in the €5,300 No Limit Hold’em EPT main event back in August 2019. Since then he has also competed in several other competitions that bring him the recognition he has today.
