Beneath it, there is a four-storey underground garage helping to reduce the problem of parking in the area. In fact, the garage can also be used by the shoppers of the nearby market.
The company told MTI that they employ 50 people, and they are planning to open another hotel in Hungary, but they did not tell anything more specific regarding the issue. Furthermore, they did not say anything about their revenue plans for this year either.
According to Meininger Hotels, they have many different types of rooms from single and double ones to multi-bed rooms and dormitories. They plan to open new hotels this year in Heidelberg, München and Paris. Ten further projects are under development in Switzerland, Iceland and the USA. Speaking of numbers, in the 2017/2018 financial year, they had an
88 pc occupancy rate.
Meininger is the affiliate firm of Holidaybreak Ltd., a European company specialised in catering to people who plan to travel for leisure and education purposes. Holidaybreak is affiliated with the Prometheon Holdings Ltd. (UK) which is part of the Cox & Kings Ltd. group listed on the stock exchange of London and Mumbai. The chain has altogether 25 hybrid hotels in 15 big cities of Europe like Milan, München, Rome and Vienna.
