Hundreds of people fall ill in Hungarian town due to a mysterious disease: investigation ongoing

The Government Office told HVG that more than 600 people in Nagykőrös have been affected by the disease, which causes vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. Five children were hospitalised for dehydration. They have, by now, been released.
“The authority has taken the necessary measures in the affected institutions, including a disinfectant clean-up of the kitchen facilities. An investigation into the incident is ongoing,”
the Government Office said.
Local sources say the disease affects both adults and children. The outbreaks started last week.
