The kid-friendliness of a destination can be a crucial aspect in case of family holidays. Luckily, there are several Hungarian spas where children can play and paddle happily, while their parents are also having a great time. Termalfurdo.hu collected seven family-friendly spas, which offer great programmes and relaxation for all age groups.
Going to the spa with kids and family is a completely different experience than going with your partner or an adult company. When going with children, orientation in advance is recommended, so that you can have an idea of whether or not a complex has kid-friendly programmes to occupy younger travellers.
This first spa is open all year around and welcomes guests with the ultimate feeling of relaxation. Recreation is ensured by a spacious, bright pool area, thermal baths of pleasant temperature water, slides, paddling-pools and comfortable deck-chairs. The smallest and youngest guests are welcomed with a paddling pool, filled with 30 centimeters of water, and the watery experience is completed with a friendly elephant slide. The spa also has a colossal slide, which might seem a bit riskier, but kids love it. Another favorite is the black hole slide equipped with light and sound effects. It goes around the building like a serpentine, but ends indoors. It’s an entertaining game in every season.
The popular indoor spa welcomes families with unclouded fun offered by 15 pools and 11 slides (1 kilometer long all together) in both winter and summer. They not only use the soothing function of thermal water, but also its entertaining feature, to guarantee relaxation and active diversion for the whole family. There are two fun pools with drift-current, river rides and underwater beds. Children – let they be toddlers or teenagers – will surely find a programme they like in the kids’ empire, which welcomes them with fun slides, pools and a playground. Braver guests can even try the kamikaze or the UFO slide. Everything happens indoors, so you don’t have to worry about the weather conditions.
The special aqua island offers several bathing and sporting activities to its visitors – from Turkish bath and fitness to wellness. Guests can relax in the fun pool, relax pool, kids’ pool, jacuzzi, outdoor pools, infra sauna and enjoy the slides, toy house or the baby-mommy room. The outdoor beach is open in the summer, when children can have fun in the kids’ pools, the wave pool, or play on the slides and the playground.
