7 kid-friendly spas in Hungary
The kid-friendliness of a destination can be a crucial aspect in case of family holidays. Luckily, there are several Hungarian spas where children can play and paddle happily, while their parents are also having a great time. Termalfurdo.hu collected seven family-friendly spas, which offer great programmes and relaxation for all age groups.

The special aqua island offers several bathing and sporting activities to its visitors – from Turkish bath and fitness to wellness. Everyone can find a fitting form of relaxation in the western part of the country as well. You can try 10 different water attractions and a wild water drift in the indoor complex. Children will definitely have a lot of fun in the kids’ pool, mini slides and water buckets. Adults can also prove their bravery in the black hole slide, which is the ultimate sliding experience enriched with light and colour effects. There’s also a timer on the slide, so it is perfect for a little family competition.
Bükfürdő Health and Adventure Centre
Another perfect destination for families all year around. The drift-current, the jacuzzi beds and jacuzzis guarantee unforgettable memories. The pool section also contributes to the pleasant atmosphere with thermal baths. Children are welcomed with paddling-pools and a special slide system. If you’re looking for the coolest slides, you should try the ones decorated with light effects, going around the building like a serpentine. The relaxation section has comfortable deck-chairs, games, a chat corner, heated seats and a baby-mommy room. Kids’ favourite part is the toy room and the modern playground.
The wellness centre welcomes visitors with a wide variety of pools and saunas at Lake Balaton. They have everything you need for your family holiday: kids’ pool with water games, toyhouse, slides, thermal pool, relax room etc. Relaxation is guaranteed.
