Ader Launches Queen Margaret Legacy Programme at Gala Dinner
London, November 4 (MTI) – Hungary’s President Janos Ader was the guest of honour at a gala charity dinner organised by the Hungarian embassy in London, the president’s office said.
The evening was in honour of Saint Margaret of Scotland and its patron was Princess Michael of Kent.
Saint Margaret of Scotland, born in Hungary, had been an exceptional woman who linked two borderlands of Christian Europe both in spirit and in reality: Britannia and Hungary, Ader said in his address.
The launch of the Queen Margaret Legacy Programme in Hungarian-British cooperation was announced at the dinner.
