Hungarian ice cream awarded in Bologna

Brigitanya, an ice cream workshop from Gyenesdiás won a second prize at the European round of the ice cream world championship, according to Keszthely TV.
Il mio cioccolato (My chocolate). It is the name of the specialty that will represent Hungary at the international ice cream-making contest. The unique ice cream was made by a workshop from Gyenesdiás, and it won the first round in Budapest. The ice cream shop has been quite popular among the local people so far, but the award-winning specialty has attracted even more guests.
“We came from Keszthely, and we were cycling with my child to get here. We heard about the award-winning ice cream, so we decided to try it during the holidays”, one of the guests claimed.
It was not the first time this shop made an awarded ice cream. They have received a special award last year at the Ice Cream of Lake Balaton contest, and they have won silver label at the Ice Cream of the Year competition. It is important for them to combine the well-known tastes with something unique. They often visit ice cream expos, and they eventually get inspiration from a delicious dessert.
