Hungary’s foreign minister discusses economic relations with Moroccan tourism minister

Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó held talks with Morocco’s Minister of Tourism, Air Transport and Social Economy Mohammed Sajid, the foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
Szijjártó said at the meeting that Hungary supports the stability of North African countries because experiences from recent years showed that “Europe’s security starts with North Africa’s stability”, the ministry said in a statement.
Major progress has been made in the area of tourism which represents the basis of Hungarian-Moroccan economic cooperation, it said.
Starting from today, four weekly direct flights will operate between the two countries, including two flights to Marrakech and two to Agadir.
The ministry said hundred Moroccan students are studying in Hungary on scholarships and the Moroccan government has initiated increasing the number of positions available.
