Hungary’s president sends condolences over Egypt terrorism victims
President János Áder sent a telegram of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi over a recent terrorist attack in Egypt, which claimed over 200 lives.
In his telegram Ader expressed sympathy with friends and families of the victims, and wished an early recovery to the wounded.
Hungary will continue to support efforts to ensure that “those obsessed with killing are prevented from jeopardising peaceful and good-willed believers”, Áder said in his telegram.
The terrorist attack was committed at a mosque in Bir el-Abed earlier on Friday. According to the latest figures 235 people died and 109 were injured in the massacre.
