Vinalies Internationales Wine Competition
Vinalies Internationales is one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the wine world which is organised every year by the Union of French Oenologists.
During the five-day-event, a jury of 130 wine experts come together to blind taste more than 3000 bottles of wines from all over the world.
The wines compete in six categories: dry red, dry rosé, dry white, sweet, liqueur and sparkling. There is also a separate class for spirits. The most note-worthy wines are given gold and silver medals, and a small number of exceptional wines are awarded the Vinalies Trophy.
In 2018, more than 3,500 bottles of wines entered the competition in Paris.
