Green opposition LMP calls for sustainable policy against illegal migration
Green opposition LMP on Friday called on the government to find long-term solutions to reduce illegal migration.
The Hungarian government sees migration merely as a “communication stunt and is trying to position itself in EU institutions using blackmail. Its measures do not take the form of real action and mean no solution,” lawmaker Márta Demeter told a press conference on Friday.
“It went without saying” that illegal migration should be stopped and that migration policy should remain the member states’ authority, she said.
Amid numerous international meetings, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán “has only missed the ones where he should have represented the security interests of Hungarians,” Demeter said.
The EU has made important decisions on reinforcing Frontex, the EU border and coast protection authority, and has strengthened its ties with the Balkan states, she said.
Demeter also called on the government to explain why they would postpone the vote on the next EU budget, which would significantly boost security spending, until after the 2019 EP election.

What flipping news channel or planet is this women on?? Everything she stated is backwards and upside down. Did a new glue sniffing factory open up near her office??
Please note that Frau Merkel is a ‘woman’ that lives seperatly from her ex-husband. She is married with another person, Mr. Sauer and by using the ‘old’ name she shows her madness. So, if the name is Sauer you can easily read Merkel.
Angela Sauer’s CDU is fallen into a free fall in the polls because of her refusal to close the borders and even argues with coalition partner CSU. The CSU is indeed on the rise thanks to their steadiness. Problems in Berlin, because the German governmental quarrel about migration seems to bring Sauer seriously into trouble. For the first time in years, her CSU drops below 30% in the polls. The CSU, of its opponent Horst Seehofer, is just on the rise. So it is clear: Germany is slowly but surely opting for Sauer. After years of ‘Wir schaffen das politics’ it is time to monitor the German borders a bit better and not to let everyone else in. The poll also shows that if the immigration critical CSU candidates would launch in all German states they could easily become the 2nd party in Germany. Another scenario is amazing: according to a survey the CSU will get 18% of the votes, making it the 2nd strongest force behind the CDU. As can be seen from the survey published on 24.07.2018, the CDU in Germany would reach 22%, even if they were also eligible in Bavaria. The 3rd place is taken by the SPD with 17%, followed by the left party (12%), the AfD (11%), the Greens (10%) and the FDP (6%). Seehofer’s party has now settled on Merkel’s CDU and only takes part in the elections independently in Bavaria. But if the CDU does not come across the bridge and sets off a stricter course in the area of migration, then this nightmare scenario for Sauer can quickly become reality. ‘Mutti’ will therefore have to change course quickly to more migration-based rehabilitation because otherwise the long-term domination of her party is on the line. And that also indicates that Mr. Orbán is the great winner in this ‘fight’ and more and more countries are supporting the V-4 group!
