The night of Christmas is getting closer and closer and people are excited to start celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Preparations already began: everybody is buying different kinds of presents, bake cakes, decorate houses, Christmas trees and start to prepare the Christmas menu. Celine Dion – These Are Special Times

Dion’s 1998 Christmas album is a must during the Christmas season. With powerful vocals and emotional lyrics, the album features classic hits like The Prayer and I’m Your Angle along with the well-known Christmas classics.

Michael Bublé – Christmas

This is the seventh studio album and fifth major label studio album released in 2011 by the Canadian singer. The album won a Juno Award for Album of the Year, making it the first holiday album to win the award. The album was re-released on November 26, 2012, containing four additional tracks, including a new recording of  The Christmas Song.

Elvis Presley – Elvis’ Christmas Album

Released in 1957 this is the oldest album on this list but also the most successful and iconic one by Elvis Presley. Featuring all-time classic songs like Silent Night and Blue Christmas your holiday season is not complete without this album.

Mariah Carey – Merry Christmas

The Queen of Christmas made her first Christmas album in 1994. The album’s lead single All I Want for Christmas Is You is the best-selling Christmas single of all time. There is no Christmas without this song and without Mariah’s classic album which features incredible vocals and classic songs like O Holy Night, Jesus, Oh, What a Wonderful Child and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Kata Csondor is the most famous voice actress in Hungary. Her Christmas song has been Hungary’s favourite one in the past years.

Piramis – Kívánj igazi ünnepet 

Hungarian hard-rock band Piramis started its career in the 1970s and became one of the most popular and iconic Hungarian bands of all time. The released five studio albums and several singles and other hit songs. This song is also a popular Christmas song in Hungary.

Dolly Roll – Karácsonyi képeslap 

Dolly Roll is a Hungarian pop music band which was established in 1983. They released 32 studio albums so far. This Christmas song is from their 1987 album entitled as Játék az élet (Life is a game).

Klári Katona – Legyen ünnep

Hungarian singer and songwriter Klári Katona was the first true pop star in Hungary and one of the biggest names of the 1970s and 1980s. She released nine studio albums, two concert albums and many hit songs. Her Christmas song is an all-time favourite in Hungary.

Zséda – A szürke patás

Zséda is the most successful pop-singer in Hungary since 2002. With six studio albums and several musical awards, she is Hungary’s favourite pop princess. Last year she gave a full house concert at Budapest Park to promote her latest studio album entitled as Kémia (Chemistry).
