To send your kids to university is the most expensive in Hungary

Expertmarket.co.uk made a list based on “how much it really costs parents around the world to send their kids to university by looking at tuition fees against the average income”. Hungary finished 1^st on the list, which is quite embarrassing.

The first 10 places:

According to origo.hu, the compilation used Quacquarelli Symmonds (QS) institution ranking, which collects the best universities of the world. There are only four universities on the list from Hungary: University of Szeged, Eötvös Loránd University, University of Debrecen, and Corvinus University of Budapest.

The list calculates with the tuition fee for a complete university education, which is aorund 22,560 GBP (9.6 million HUF). However, in the case of the most expensive courses – dental education – it can be even 30,000 GBP (HUF 13.5 million).
