Expertmarket.co.uk made a list based on “how much it really costs parents around the world to send their kids to university by looking at tuition fees against the average income”. Hungary finished 1st on the list, which is quite embarrassing.
The first 10 places:
According to origo.hu, the compilation used Quacquarelli Symmonds (QS) institution ranking, which collects the best universities of the world. There are only four universities on the list from Hungary: University of Szeged, Eötvös Loránd University, University of Debrecen, and Corvinus University of Budapest.
The list calculates with the tuition fee for a complete university education, which is aorund 22,560 GBP (9.6 million HUF). However, in the case of the most expensive courses – dental education – it can be even 30,000 GBP (HUF 13.5 million).
