Budapest, May 3 (MTI) – Hungary continues to support Macedonia’s efforts to join NATO and the European Union, Defence Minister István Simicskó said on Tuesday.
The stability of the Western Balkans is important to Hungary and to the whole of Europe, he said at a joint press conference with Macedonian counterpart Zoran Jolevski. At talks with Jolevski, he expressed thanks to Macedonia for “protecting Europe” amid the migrant crisis. He confirmed that Hungary would continue to provide all necessary help to Macedonia in handling the migrant situation.
