Hungarian FM Szijjártó: We won two battles in Brussels
The world will need a huge amount of electricity to operate heating and cooling systems, industrial growth, and the transition to electromobility, the foreign minister said on Friday.
Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook that the only cheap, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly way to satisfy increasing demand was nuclear energy.
“It is therefore very important that we have won two battles in Brussels, when the European Union recognised nuclear energy as sustainable and when we prevented the sanctions to be imposed on it,” Szijjártó said.
He said China was at the forefront of developing nuclear technologies and in in Hungary “a comprehensive nuclear ecosystem has developed”. As a result, “we have a vested interest in developing such nuclear cooperation”, he added.
“Based on talks with leaders of the China National Nuclear Corporation today, I was convinced that that interest is not one-sided,” Szijjártó said.

Contrary to what our Politicians want you to believe, it is President Macron’s France is leading the nuclear-energy-is-green charge:

Royal “we”. 56 reactors (France) to our four (4). Great soundbite by Mr. Szijjártó as per usual – very Facebookable / non-factual.
So – is he now suggesting we buy Chinese kit, along with the Russian stuff? Perhaps they can make this funding opaque or State Secret as well. Definitely partners who understand how our NER Knights system works!
Does the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, in his “Globe Trotting” – in his “entourage” that no doubt accompanies him, is there a “mobile” arrangement, of a confessional, that a fold up and down configuration, easily transportable, cost worn by the tax payers of Hungary – of COURSE, for Peter Szijjarto, to “retire” to, with, a Roman Catholic Priest, hearing his “fabrication” of Fact & Truth ?
Thought his Senior Education in Gyor, the message of Fact as against Lies & Fabrication of Truth, would have been MOULDED into him.
St. Benedict – “Patron Saint” of Szijjarto senior school, in Gyor, a quote he left us, appears dismissed in it’s message by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs.
St. Benedict said :
” Do not speak FOOLISH or Idle words, for they betray a Restless Spirit”.
This ” Globe Trotting” wonder if the time he spends in the air, in the “Sheer” comfort at Hungarian Tax Payers money, no doubt in 1st Class, he could be a MASTER of the Rule of St. Benedict.
Better read than majority of the “stuff” he directs his attention to in his “Globe Trotting.
Is his studying Mandarin ?
Szijjarto and the Minister of Finance – Mihaly Varga – could “study” together – for there growing numbers of visits to CHINA.
Why are these political guys always trying to brandish their “manhood” with words like “battle” in every sentence. How about “we reached common ground” or “we negotiated instead of demanding” or something like that. These same “men” attack teachers, attach LGBT, attack those fleeing horror, they attack anyone except Victor, because they are not men at all.
