Veszprém HC, one of the handball world’s best teams, secured its first gold medal at the IHF Men’s Club World Championship, organised in Egypt. Congratulations!
According to ihf.info, this is the first time the Hungarian team won the title. The final was dramatic against the SC Magdeburg, which they won 34:33 in extra time. The Germans came back into the match in the second half of the regular time.
