Hungary’s new Digital Citizenship Programme popular
I trust that the Digital Citizenship Programme application will gain broad support, many people will use it because they will see that it is easier to handle matters with it and identify themselves, Antal Rogán, the head of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office, said at a conference on Thursday.
Rogán said the programme, which aims to expand paperless state administration, started operating in September and currently 350,000-360,000 users downloaded the application for it.
The goal is for that number to be between 3m and 5m by the middle or the end of 2026, he added.
