Man who sought to assassinate PM Orbán ordered to psychiatric facility

The metropolitan court of Budapest has ruled that a man recently detained for planning to have the prime minister assassinated should stay under arrest at psychiatric detention facility IMEI for thirty days.
The suspect, who has been treated for psychiatric disorders for seven years, is believed to have attempted to hire somebody through the internet to kill the prime minister.
The suspect has admitted to having made preparations for homicide, but said he had acted inconsiderately. He also said he would occasionally have temper fits “due to the political situation and cases of injustice.”
