Wizz Air launches Budapest-Sofia flight
Budapest (MTI) – Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air on Tuesday launched a new direct flight between Budapest and Sofia, the company told MTI.
The flight will be operated three times a week, it said.
Wizz Air currently operates direct flights from Budapest to 48 destinations in 23 countries.
The airline carried 2.5 million passengers in January-September this year, 25 percent more than during the same period in 2015. It expects its passenger numbers to exceed 3.5 million by the end of 2016.
