Air France flight turns back to Budapest after cockpit fills with smoke
Budapest, August 24 (MTI) – An Air France flight bound for Paris was forced to turn back to Budapest after its cockpit filled with smoke, aviation news portal Airportal.hu reported on Monday.
The Airbus A319 aircraft carrying 132 passengers turned back over Tata, in northern Hungary, after an electrical malfunction led to the cockpit being filled with smoke, the portal said. The pilots reported the emergency to air traffic control and requested permission to turn back to Budapest, where the aircraft later made a safe landing.
