All Hungarian MPs submit asset declarations by deadline
All deputies and representatives of ethnic minorities in Hungary’s parliament have submitted their annual asset declarations by the January 31 deadline, János Hargitai, head of parliament’s immunity committee, told MTI on Wednesday.
Hargitai said the declarations would be published on parliament’s website on February 1. He added that the same asset declaration rules applied to leaders of the State Audit Office, the Competition Office, the Budget Council, members of the Competition Council and the council of the Public Procurement Authority, the chief prosecutor and his deputies, the leaders of the National Bank of Hungary, members of the Monetary Council, the central bank’s board members, as well as the head and members of the Media Council.
