Be prepared in all weathers in 2015!

weather

The weather was quite unpredictable in the recent years in Hungary, but femina.hu provided us a helpful forecast for this year, in case you want to plan ahead!

Femina.hu used the statistics covering the weather of preceding years and the experiences concerning the climate of Hungary. According to Mihály Dávid, a meteorologist, January and February will bring us the cold, snowy winter we were waiting for in the holiday season, so if you didn’t prepare your wardrobe until now, you should buy a wintercoat during the winter sales. This season will be rainy and snowy, and the temperature will remain under 0°C, adds esotanc.hu.

A capricious spring follows the cool winter, as the beginning of March brings sunshine and warmth, but the second half of the month will cool down. The cold will last until May, which means that there is little chance for a real transition between winter and summer.

The weather in summer will favour the lovers of heatwaves in 2015, but might cause problems for those sensitive to fluctuation of temperature: the warmest month this summer will most probably be June or July, unlike previous years’ data. The temperature decreases in August, causing a feeling of indian summer, but the month will remain reliably agreeable, the summer will end without severe changes in temperature.

In 2014, autumn and winter were relatively mild: with only few exceptionally chilly days, the temperature did not go under 0°C. According to femina.hu, this is due to the slowly changing climate and the tendency will most probably continue in 2015. The indian summer will last until October, with an average temperature of 10-15°C degrees, and December will be as mild as in 2014, so if the forecast is reliable, there won’t be a white Christmas in 2015.
