Body of Verőce ship collision victim found in Danube
The body of a man was found between Vác and Sződliget, at river kilometre 1675.8 of the Danube. The BRFK has identified the deceased, 19-year-old Márton V. Four other people are still being sought.
In the post, the police wrote, “Of course, while we are searching for missing people, there is always one last ray of hope, but because of the time that has passed since the tragedy, although we do not say it, we know that we are currently struggling to recover the bodies of the victims to give back to their families. Our colleagues have therefore been searching the river non-stop every day since the accident”.
