Budapest has the best rooftop bar in the world!
Budapest’s High Note Skybar is one of the best rooftop bars in the world, says Condé Nast Traveler. On 24 April, Author Paul Rubio wrote an article about the 10 best rooftop bars in the world, and High Note Skybar was the first rooftop bar mentioned on the list.
High Note Skybar is located on the rooftop of Aria Hotel Budapest. Aria Hotel belongs to the Library Hotel Collection, and it is famous for winning TripAdvisor’s Travellers Choice Award several times, it was also selected as the second best hotel in Central Europe by Condé Nast Traveler. Forbes Magazine wrote a lengthy article about the popular Hungarian hotel as well.
High Note Skybar was chosen due to its incredible location that enables the bar to have an atmosphere which combines historic and modern Budapest. The article also said that:
“A cutting-edge, bi-level design—connected by a cantilevered, glass staircase—grants sublime views of the skyline and a front-row ticket to St. Stephen’s Basilica.”
The article also praises the cocktail and food menu of the popular rooftop bar. That is no surprise since the Hungarian rooftop bar is known for, apart from the incredible view, the amazing fine dining experience it offers to its guests, serving incredibly delicious meals and cocktails all year round.
High Note Skybar has a unique theme in each season. Last winter’s theme, for example, was the forest that inspired incredible dishes and drinks. The rooftop bar makes sure that it offers something new each season, making it worth revisiting from time to time.

Apart from the rooftop bar, Aria Hotel is known for its music-themed wings and rooms that are decorated according to their specific musical genre: classical, jazz, opera and contemporary.
