Budapest M2 metro to omit two stations from today

The second most popular Budapest metro line, M2, is to omit a couple of metro stations in the first and second weekends of November. You may find the details below.

The public may use the M2 metro line on November 5-6 and 12-13 weekends only between the Southern Railway Station (Déli pályaudvar) and the Puskás Ferenc Stadium. That means the metro will not commute to the Pillangó Street and Örs vezér Square metro stations. Passengers can change to replacement buses to travel to those stations. On the Örs vezér Square, people will be able to get on those buses at the bus station of Kőbányai Street or on Kerepesi Street. At the Puskás Ferenc Stadium, metro station buses will start near the metro station and will halt at the Kerepesi Street-Hungária Street crossroads, where trolley number 80 has a stop.

At the Örs vezér Square, connections will wait for the arrival of the last metro replacement bus, so passengers should expect a later departure time than usual, bkk.hu wrote.
