The Városháza Park is located in the heart of Budapest and can be reached by a five-minute walk from Deák Ferenc Square where metro lines one, two and three stop. The so-called Advent and Winter Festival welcomes visitors for the 7th time in 2019. The five-week festival usually starts around mid-November, on a Friday and is on till the end of December. It is a smaller event than the official Christmas fair of the city on Vörösmarty Square but offers similarly rich cultural and family programs for both locals and tourists.

For the first time, organisers created a segment at the festival called “environmentally friendly Christmas” which means that children and everybody who would like to can make Christmas ornaments and gifts out of recyclable garbage.
