It’s a Wonderful Life
It is a 1946 American Christmas fantasy drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra, in an inexpressibly heart-stirring and touching way. After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search for his true identity. He is surely the one on the list who always feels the Christmas spirit.
The Nightmare before Christmas
It is a 1993 American stop motion dark fantasy musical film produced and conceived by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a character from “Halloween Town” who opens a portal to “Christmas Town” and decides to celebrate the holiday, with some dastardly and comical consequences. This might be less of a sweet movie, with its many horror features at least.
When it comes to Christmastime romantic comedies, the perfect choice is Love Actually written and directed by Richard Curtis. You’ll find a favourite scene for sure and sing along to ‘Christmas is All Around’.
