Clinton: Hungarians want a Putin-type dictatorship

Politico wrote back in 2016 what former US president Bill Clinton said about Hungary and the Hungarians years ago. “Poland and Hungary, two countries that would not be free but for the United States and the long Cold War, have now decided this democracy is too much trouble,” Clinton said campaigning for his wife, Hillary then. “They want Putin-like leadership: Just give me an authoritarian dictatorship and keep the foreigners out”, he added. Both the Hungarian and Polish leaders were outraged following Clinton’s remarks. Foreign minister Péter Szijjártó said, “no one, not even Bill Clinton, can allow himself to offend the Hungarian people in this way.”

A Clinton speaking about Hungarian politics is rich. America is now on the verge of becoming a dictatorship and she is lecturing Hungarians about Hungary wanting a Putin style dictatorship. Hungarians enjoy a lot more freedoms today just as the Russians are enjoying under Putins government. Russia is NOT under the rule of a tyranical dictator. Hillary really should shut her mouth and find a nice hobby and be thankful she is not in prison where she belongs for her crimes. America is a dying empire and its death acnnot come soon enough for the safety of the people of planet earth.
I don’t think anyone wants a authoritarian dictatorship – Hungarians or Americans. Misguided political posturing.
