Coronavirus – Further 5 patients die, 2,998 registered as infected
A further 5 people, all of whom had underlying illnesses, have died in Hungary, bringing the total number of deaths to 340, while the number of registered novel coronavirus infections has increased by 56 to 2,998, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Friday morning.
Fully 629 people treated for the virus in hospital have recovered, while a total of 1,005 patients are still hospitalised, 51 of whom are on ventilators.

Currently 10,786 people are under official home quarantine, while the number of tests carried out stands at 82,010.
The virus is still being spread in the community through personal contact, though the authorities are preparing for mass infections.
The most cases are in Budapest (1,473 people), followed by Pest County (400), Fejer county (300) and Komarom-Esztergom County (132). Vas County (14) has the lowest number of infections in Hungary.
