Driver escapes from scene of accident after police chase car carrying 4 Syrian migrants
Budapest (MTI) – After a car chase, police discovered four Syrian nationals on a motorway at Kiskunfelegyhaza on Sunday. Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle, a local police spokesperson said.
At the Roszke border station on the Serbian-Hungarian border, police wanted to check a car but it failed to stop and carried on in the direction of Budapest. Police from Csongrad County followed the car to Kiskunfelegyhaza, where the car crashed into a post. The driver then escaped, leaving four Syrian migrants behind.
