German private theater starts in Budapest

On April 14, the well-known German author, Martin Walser’s two-character drama called Die Zimmerschlacht (Massacre in the room) will be played. “Zimmerschlacht is a legendary play in Germany. It is often referred as the German version of the Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” – Jurgen Kramer said. “The play is about what can happen when a couple who had long lived together, suddenly they start being honest with each other. For me, it is often a comical piece, I can laugh about it, but I also see its tragic dimension.”
