A 15-year-old girl was seriously injured in a stabbing incident outside a central Budapest nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning, sparking outrage on social media and raising concerns about public safety in the city.
Attack near Peaches & Cream
The attack took place near the Peaches & Cream club in Budapest’s VI district, Blikk reported. Footage circulating on TikTok shows emergency services at the scene, including police officers escorting a handcuffed individual into a patrol van. The identity of the suspect and their connection to the victim remain under investigation.
According to the National Ambulance Service, the young girl was taken to hospital with severe injuries to her chest. The Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) confirmed that three people were detained in connection with the incident. Authorities have opened an investigation for attempted murder, with the Life Protection Department also examining whether any other offences occurred.

The attack drew strong reactions online. One TikTok user who shared a video of the aftermath wrote: “Seriously, we are not safe anywhere… This morning, a girl was stabbed outside Peaches & Club. I’m tired. Sad. And scared that this is our reality. Take care of yourselves!”
I hope she makes a speedy and full recovery. Nothing justifies this kind of an attack.
Unpopular opinion, though: What the hell was a 15-year-old doing out at four o’clock in the morning, and in a seedy area at that?? Was she out with her parents’ knowledge and permission?? Fifteen year-olds are still children and should be treated as such by their parents.
