Euro2016 – Homecoming party at Heroes’ Square this evening
The Hungarian national team is due to back in Budapest early this evening having captured the imagination of the whole country with their performances at Euro 2016.
The Hungarian Football Federation received numerous phone calls following the defeat against Belgium enquiring as to when the team will return home, and due to the high level of interest the team has generated the federation has made arrangements for a special homecoming party.
We hereby announce that those wishing to welcome the team and coaching staff back can do so today from 18:00 at Heroes’ Square. Straight after the welcome party a concert for supporters shall commence with surprise guest acts appearing on the stage. We kindly request supporters not to come to Ferenc Liszt International Airport as due to security considerations there will be no opportunity to meet with the team there. Please follow the federation’s communication channels regularly in case of any possible changes to the schedule.
