Famous American singer, songwriter Akon is in Hungary – photos, videos

Hollywood superstars are lately swarming in Budapest and Hungary. Thus, it is not surprising that after Will Smith, Harrison Ford, Jennifer Lawrence, Jamie Foxx and many others Akon also arrived in Hungary to perform at a festival and to shoot a commercial.

Budapest is very popular in Hollywood

As we already reported, Budapest is becoming more and more important for the film production industry. For example, it provided a backdrop for such big-budget blockbusters as Blade Runner 2049, Red Sparrow, Inferno, Spy, or Evita. Furthermore, Atomic Blonde, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and many more were also shot here.

Thus, it is not surprising that even famous American singer, songwriter Akon chose Budapest

to shoot a commercial together with Vivien Vasvári

known from the Hungarian version of AXN Central Europe’s Real Housewives reality. She played – not surprisingly – Akon’s wife and her tasks were to smash his phone and laptop – according to velvet.hu. Vivien posted a photo from the shooting on her Instagram page where she can be seen standing barefoot on a Bentley:

Akon performed in Debrecen

The venue of the shooting was the Clark Ádám Square just on the opposite side of the Chain Bridge where Will Smith celebrated Father’s Day with his family in June.

Akon performed before on Saturday at Campus Fesztivál in Debrecen. After that, he came to Budapest of which a video was published on Vimeo. According to hvg.hu, he tootled along in a white Bentley Continental on the Széchenyi and Clark Ádám Square and sipped cocktails on the terrace of the Leo Budapest rooftop bar opened just recently near the Chain Bridge.
