Farm ministry official holds talks in Belarus
Budapest, June 7 (MTI) – Farm ministry state secretary Márton Bitay held talks on bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture with the Belarusian deputy minister of agriculture in Minsk on Tuesday, the ministry said.
Following the talks, Bitay and Vladimir Grakun signed a memorandum of understanding for agricultural cooperation.
Bitay said new opportunities could arise with the establishment of Hungarian-Belarusian joint companies for processing agricultural goods and with Hungarians participating in food industry investments.
He added that Hungary’s European Union membership can serve as an advantage for Belarusian companies looking to do business on the EU market.
