Conference held in Budapest on Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities

On 24 September 2025, Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest hosted an event of the Ludovika Ambassadors’ Forum at its campus, where Ambassador of Pakistan Asif Hussain Memon was invited as “Guest of Honour” and “Key Note Speaker”. The topic of the Ambassador’s presentation was “Pakistan’s Foreign Policy Priorities”.
The event was attended by a large number of students from Ludovika University, Ambassadors and diplomats from the diplomatic corps. The presentation was followed by a round table discussion in which Professor László Csicsmann, head of the Corvinus Centre for Contemporary Asia Studies, Corvinus University of Budapest and a senior research fellow at the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, joined as a panellist.

Rector of Ludovika University of Public Service, Mr. Gergely Deli, highlighted that Pakistan and Hungary enjoy a cordial relationship, and the scope of the bilateral relationship has been enhanced to cover various fields, including agriculture, technology, energy, and higher education, where Pakistani students received scholarships from the Hungarian government. He also mentioned that currently, four Pakistani students were studying at Ludovika in International Public Service Management, Environmental Engineering, and International Relations.
