Freezing Cold on New Year’s Eve

weather

According to Szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, on the last days of the year, Hungary will be invaded by rather cold, arctic air, and it is certainly a real need for a thick coat, hat, scarf, gloves – Idokep.hu’s recent forecast says. Frosts below -10 degrees Celsius will not be rare either.

On Tuesday, sporadic snow showers can develop in the Great Hungarian Plain and in the Alpokalja, and there may be strong gusts of wind, and from afternoon, air circulation will be reduced. The temperature will remain below freezing during the day.

The cold air comes to rest on New Year’s Eve, and there is a view for a lot of sunshine and a rather cold weather for the last day of the old year. At dawn, the temperatures will fall slightly below -10 degrees Celsius in several places, even -15, 18 degrees are can not be excluded, and -5 degrees remains the top in several places daytime – 2014 says goodbye with a really harsh winter weather, Szeretlakmagyarorszag.hu says.

With the first day of the new year, the weather will slowly ease.
