Fuel prices to rise significantly on Wednesday in Hungary
Fill up now if you can: from Wednesday, petrol stations in Hungary will see significant fuel price increases. From 12 July, the wholesale price of petrol will increase by HUF 5 gross, while the price of diesel will rise by HUF 10.
On Wednesday, domestic fuel prices will rise significantly. The wholesale price of petrol will rise by HUF 5 gross, while diesel will cost HUF 10 more for fuel wholesalers, holtankoljak.net reports. This increase will also be reflected in the prices at the stations. So, the average prices on Wednesday will be as follows:
- 95 petrol will cost HUF 582/litre,
- diesel will cost HUF 573/litre.
As we reported before, motorists can expect to pay more than HUF 600 (EUR 1.59) for fuel this autumn. This will be influenced mostly by the increase in excise tax and the expected weakening of the forint. Read more HERE.
