Hungarian company designs futuristic buildings that blend into nature – PHOTOS
Hello Wood is an international architecture studio based in Budapest and known for various buildings from cabins to unique installations. The cabins and other buildings they design all have a futuristic look, but the design still brings people close to nature.
The company started in 2010 as an art camp. Later, this turned into an international team of architects, designers, and joiners. Today, Hello Wood is a creative architecture and design studio, without having lost its status as an independent educational platform.
The design can be described as close-to-nature, simple, and cosy. Nonetheless, the buildings still have a futuristic look.
Based on the studio’s belief, the quality of the space is not solely determined by its size. The designs and the interiors show that the studio has excellent skills to use the space in the most useful, compact but aesthetic way. The cabins, for example, can either be a cosy home or a comfortable office to the clients. Kabinka, Workstation, Wauhaus or Grand Cabin would definitely catch people’s eye and make them fall in love with the remarkable design.

Minimalists and those who prefer low costs of living would love to spend their time in these wonderfully designed places by Hello Wood. But there is another catch: construction works take less time. The cabins can be assembled in just a few days after all the pieces arrive at the customers’. Another factor that may bring these cabins close to the buyers’ hearts is their environmentally conscious design.

”Our creative services are based on innovative and quality product development. Whether it’s the construction of cabins, buildings or heavier, 1,000 m2 festival venues, our studio is committed to high quality. In order to achieve the desired standard, we are present in all phases of the work process, from the birth of the idea to its implementation, keeping in mind the needs of our customers,” the studio writes.
The studio prides itself on winning various awards. Hello Wood won Iconic Award, Muse Design Awards, Architizer A+ Awards, Big See Product Design, A’Design Award, IDA Design Awards, Golden Cubes Awards, Magyar Formatervezési Díj (Hungarian Design Award), Big See Interior Design Award, Design Award, Design Management Award, Bence-hegyi kilátó ötletpályázat (Bence Mountain Lookout Idea Competition), and Highlights of Hungary.
All these recognitions prove the quality of their work. Innovation, social responsibility, and quality design are the pillars of what they do. Their website shows a very important statement that they want to build a community and make architecture understandable and loveable for the larger public.
