Gergő Lovrencsics signs for Ferencváros
Hungarian champions Ferencvárosi TC have announced the signing of national team winger Gergő Lovrencsics from Polish side Lech Poznań. The 27 year-old has been capped 14 times for Hungary and won a Polish championship and Super Cup during his four years in Poland.
“I have built up my career step by step. The next step is Ferencváros given that we were unable to secure a European place at Lech Poznań. If I had stayed there it would have been a step backwards; at Ferencváros I can play in the Champions League. I have arrived at Hungary’s strongest team; there is no question that it is a step forward in my career” declared Lovrencsics to Fradi.hu following the official unveiling of his signing.
