Government to launch ‘Hungary Erasmus programme’ in September
Targu Mures, Romania (MTI) – The government will launch a cooperation programme in September under which 300 students from Hungarian communities in the Carpathian Basin will receive a five-month scholarship to another Hungarian university, the human resources minister announced on Friday.
Zoltán Balog spoke in Romania’s Targu Mures (Marosvásárhely) and said that the “Hungarian Erasmus programme” would be named after the late architect Imre Makovecz.
Balog said the programme, aimed at “building an integrated educational sphere” for the Carpathian Basin, would involve all universities which offer courses taught in Hungarian.
