Budapest, March 9 (MTI) – Japanese carbon fibre maker Zoltek signed a strategic cooperation with the government of Hungary on Monday.

The agreement was the 56th in a series of similar agreements signed by the government since the summer of 2012.

Zoltek’s plant in Nyergesujfalu, in northern Hungary, is the biggest carbon fibre factory in the world.

The company plans to expand capacity at the base, raising headcount by 100, and talks are ongoing on making 200-300 more new hires in the next 2-3 years, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said after the signing.
