While browsing on our favourite Samsung device, there is hardly anything more frustrating than those unwanted pop-up ads appearing on the screen and blocking our process for a couple of seconds. Probably, most of us have experienced such a phenomenon; however, we do not have to put up with it, as many of these ads can be easily removed – let us show you how. Just a few clicks and ready! 😉
No matter which application or Internet browser you use, the forthcoming methods can be used effectively on every platform of a Samsung device. Let us see the process step by step!
Removing ads in Samsung Internet
Even though online ads have become one of the most important marketing tools nowadays from a business point of view, from the users’ perspective, many of them are too pushing.
Besides their disturbing effects and the risk of viruses, pop-up ads can steal a large amount of data traffic due to their “heavy” banners and videos.
In order to prevent all these damages, we can stop online ads from loading.
- Open your Samsung Internet app;
- Tap the hamburger menu icon (≡) in the bottom-right corner;
- Go to Settings and select Sites and downloads;
- Look for Block pop-ups and switch its toggle to Off;
- Go back to the Internet options menu and tap Ad blocker;
- Download one of the suggested ad blocking extensions;
- Once it’s done, restart your Samsung Internet app.
Removing pop-up ads in Google Chrome
