Hungarian Bundesliga star coach improves the situation of Hertha BSC by 39 million Euros
Pál Dárdai’s Hertha BSC is in the sixth place on the league table in the Bundesliga with 15 points, reports Index referring to Bild. The German newspaper highlights how much the players’ price increased since their superb start in the Bundesliga this season.
They compared data of the end of last season with the ones they have now. They checked the database of transfermarkt, which pointed out that Arne Maier’s price tag, for example, doubled since may.
The 19 years old defensive midfielder gets regular playtime in the Bundesliga, and if he plays in a good team, rather than in a suffering mid-table team, he will be priced otherwise by the market.
The squad is worth 39 million euros more than it was last season, which is an impressive amount of money even on the level of Hertha. This means two things: they could sign cheap but good players, and that Pál Dárdai is great at helping his players in their improvement.
The most valuable players of the squad are the following:
- Niklas Stark (worth 5 million euros more) – 20 million €
- Marvin Plattenhardt (+2) – 17 million €
- Arne Maier (+7,5), Valentin Lazaro (+6), Davie Selke (+3), Karim Rekik (+5) – 15 million €
- Jordan Torunarigha (+3,5) – 10 million €
- Ondrej Duda (+5) – 8 million €
- Javairo Dilrosun (+6) – 7 million €
Of course, the market can sometimes be misleading, although one thing is for sure: Plattenhardt had an offer from England, but he stayed, while AS Roma chases stark, but he did not leave either.
