Hungarian commerce-culture centre could open in Iran
Budapest, February 17 (MTI) – A Hungarian commerce and culture centre is scheduled to open in the Iranian city of Tabriz in the second half of the year, national daily Nepszava said today.
The centre, the first “Hungarian House in Asia”, is expected to strengthen ties between Iran and the European Union as well as between Iran and Hungary, the paper said.
Sandor Balogh, who heads the Middle East department of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK), said Iran could export high-quality products at cheap prices to Europe, while Hungary could deliver automotive industry products as well as other goods to Iran.
