Hanna Cserkuthy, designer of the Whispering Wind brand has been featured in the Christmas edition of the British Vogue, one of the most prestigious fashion magazines in the world. The feature in the magazine’s aspiring-fashion-designers section is Hanna Cserkuthy’s introduction to the international fashion world, and it is a huge opportunity for the young designer, szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu writes.

The 25-year-old designer and her brother, András Cserkuthy, the brand’s manager, devoted a lot of effort to the online presentation of the brand. This is how her dresses were discovered by the British Vogue on her Instagram.

The road to this dream-come-true opportunity began when Hanna, despite advice to the contrary, decided to leave her Germanic studies major at ELTE to become a fashion designer. She studied at Forrai College, and she is especially proud of the 4 months she spent at bridal designer Daalarna during her studies.

One and a half years ago, she established her own brand Whispering Wind which creates elegant streetwear and formal dresses with unique, detailed designs. She loves to use light tulle, silks, soft leather and laces.

“It’s important for me to design clothes which make women feel feminine, but which are also comfortable and versatile, clothes in which women can be confident and elegant but never uncomfortable.”

Hanna’s dress is featured in the January edition of Vogue which came out on December 5th.
