Hungary will be one of the 12 guests of honour at the first Chinese International Import Expo, held between November 5 and 10 in Shanghai.
The event, with some 2,800 exhibitors, is expected to draw more than 80,000 companies as buyers and some 300,000 visitors, organisers said.
China has been the second largest importer in the world for 9 years, with 10.2 percent of global imports going to the country.
The other guests of honour are Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa, Vietnam and the UK.
