(MTI) – Hungary’s next government, including all state secretaries, will be set up by June 15, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office said on Friday.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban will inform Parliament about his candidates for ministers, Janos Lazar said at a public forum in the town of Hodmezovasarhely, in south-east Hungary, where he was mayor.
A new national development minister will be appointed to replace Zsuzsanna Nemeth, he said.
A hearing of candidates by parliamentary committees will start on June 2, Lazar said, adding that the new ministers are set to take their oaths of office on June 6.
Orban will name all state secretaries by June 15, he added.
Orban said on May 19 that Mihaly Varga would continue as economy minister in the new government.
Outgoing Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi introduced Laszlo Trocsanyi, Hungary’s ambassador to France, as the next justice minister during his last official visit to France last month.
