Hungary plans to contribute hospitals to Syria rebuild
Budapest, February 4 (MTI) – Hungary aims to contribute to Syria’s reconstruction process by building and operating hospitals there, a government resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows.
The government is planning to allocate 1.575 billion forints (EUR 5.1m) to the project, the resolution states.
Hungary’s contribution is to be presented at an international donor conference on dealing with the humanitarian crisis in Syria. In the conference, organised by the governments of Britain, Germany, Kuwait, Norway and the UN in London on Thursday, Hungary will be represented by Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó.
